What's New In FUT 20 Conmebol Modes
2020-03-03 00:00:00
South American football is coming to FUT 20 with the Conmebol update. Players will be able to discover the excitement of the South American football thanks to three new modes and a generous addition to the player roster. There will be Conmebol modes added to Kick Off and Career. All three Conmebol tournaments are coming to the game. You will be able to play Libertadores, Sudamericana, and Recopa in Career mode. You can complete all three of them and get the trophies. The Libertadores qualifiers are coming starting with the second season.
You might be wondering what will happen to your existing Career mode saves. Any saved game that is loaded after the update will have Conmebol content such as the format and presentation of the club competitions. The Copa Latam structure remains for existing save games. Kick Off mode will include the Sudamericana final games. Boca Juniors and River Plate are also part of the update. These teams will have their original crests and the names of the footballers. These will be in Kick Off Libertadores and the new tournament mode. Career, normal Kick Off, and UT will include the real players with generic crests and team names.
However, that is not all. A new tournament mode is being added to the game. It is called Conmebol Libertadores and it is a standalone mode. Here is what you should expect from this new mode. It will provide players with the opportunity of experiencing authentic Libertadores games. Players will start in the group stages and play their way to the grand final. The experience is tailored after the real tournament. In addition to players and tournament structure, there are other elements that aim to make the experience as authentic as possible.
There will be a tournament hub that features news and updates. You will have the chance to catch the latest developments regarding games, standings, and everything else you need to know about the competition. There will be 32 teams included in the new tournament mode. Twenty-eight of them are the teams that qualified directly for the tournament. The other four teams will be randomly selected from the other South American leagues that are part of the Conmebol update. The four teams that get to the group stages in the qualifying rounds are also coming to the game but in a later update.
Eventually, all 32 teams that are part of the Libertadores group stages will be in this tournament. Conmebol is a free update available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The update comes on March 3rd and takes around 5 GB of space on your machine.
